Araucaria Ecotours, Southeast QLD
Araucaria Ecotours offer specialised zoologist or naturalist-led small-group tours from Brisbane. A 3-day wildlife tour (camping or bed-and-breakfast) gives an overview of Australia’s wildlife while visiting rainforest, open forest, wetlands and beaches seeing kangaroos, koalas, platypus, dolphins, waterbirds, forest birds, reptiles, frogs and other wildlife, and also a wildlife park that specializes in breeding threatened species. This tour is a great way to learn about Australian wildlife and ecosystems and includes a free wildlife information kit with a booklet on Australian wildlife. Other tours include birdwatching, bushwalking, island and wildlife day-tours and a 6-day outback tour. Customised tours are possible. All ages, all fitness levels, all diets. Advanced eco-accreditation on all regular tours.
There is also a Wildlife Ecology Centre and associated Nature Trails on the Araucaria property in the Scenic Rim (south of Brisbane) for use by our tour guests and (by pre-arrangement) self-drive travellers

I am a travel agent in West Virginia and have a honeymoon couple interested in one of your safaris departing in March or April. Can you provide me with more information; i.e. costs, departures, etc.
Thank You,
Betty
Hi Betty
Our regular 3-day wildlife overview tour runs from Wed-Friday each week except Easter week, when we run Tuesday – Friday instead (many venues are either closed or crowded on Good Friday and the traffic can be horrendous), and whichever week (yet to be decided for 2012) we run our 6-day outback tour
The bed-and-breakfast we take guests to on that three-day tour is a wonderful spot for honeymooners – they are also WTA members, so you might like to see their listing on the NSW pages (they are just a few km below the Queensland border) – Cougal Park
Day-tours can be any day, but mostly Sat – Tuesday.
We pick up from CBD or inner southern suburb accommodation in Brisbane, or at the Transit Centre in the CBD
Our range of tours (birdwatching, island, bushwalking etc.) is available from http://www.learnaboutwildlife.com/tours.html and the prices from http://www.learnaboutwildlife.com/prices.html We give commission to agents of course.
Cheers
Ronda
