We suggest you book early, especially if you are seeking budget accommodation on Cradle Mountain, as this is a remote area with few options, and the less expensive rooms are likely to sell out fairly fast.

Launceston

The conference venue for the first night and morning (28-29 October) is Aspect Tamar Valley, Launceston (coaches will be supplied for transport from Launceston airport)

For those on a strict budget, SJ Hostel and Launceston Holiday Park Legana are  less than 10 minutes drive, and we can arrange transport if some of our delegates stay there.

Cradle Mountain

The conference venue for the remainder of the conference (coaches will be supplied for transport from Launceston and return) will be Cradle Mountain, rich in wildlife, forests and majestic mountain scenery.

Discovery Parks, Tasmania

  • Superior Cabin – This cabin is fully self contained with a queen bed in a separate room of the living and kitchen area. There is also another bed room with two sets of bunk beds, bathroom and toilet are off this room. This is $185 per night.
  • Spa Cottage – This cabin is fully self contained with a large open kitchen lounge area, bathroom with spa bath and toilet come off this room and also two separate bedrooms both with double beds in them and one with an over hanging single bed. this is $185 per night.
  • Standard Cottage – This cabin is fully self contained with a large open kitchen lounge area, bathroom and toilet come off this room and also two separate bedrooms both with double beds in them. This is $174 per night.
  • Standard Cabin – This cabin is fully self contained with a queen bed in a separate room of the living and kitchen area. There is also another bed room with two sets of bunk beds, bathroom and toilet are off this room​. This is $152 per night.
