Back to “Finding your wildlife experience”
Located high in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, not far from Maleny, is Bellthorpe Stays. The family owned property has fully self-contained accommodation, with cool mountain breezes in summer and a warming log fire for you in winter. Bellthorpe Stays has its own private waterfalls, rainforest and walking tracks for you to enjoy and explore, together with a 2 km boundary with Bellthorpe National Park. There are numerous bird species across five different habitats with many regularly visiting the cabins to have a chat, including the beautiful King Parrots.
While staying at Bellthorpe Stays you can visit the local attractions in Maleny and surrounds, however, most of our guests relish the peace, quiet and interaction with the natural environment that we offer. There are short walks (less than a kilometre) to the main waterfalls, wetland areas, butterfly track and rainforest areas, plus longer treks to more waterfalls, forested areas, the Bellthorpe National Park, wilderness and beyond. We also have a small farm operation that many guests enjoy as a side to the natural beauty of the locality.
Come and stay, and enjoy what nature has to offer!
